Established in 2001, Shixing Group is a textile high-tech enterprise integrating weaving, printing and dyeing, and finishing. The group company consists of: Wujiang Shixing Textile Co., Ltd., Shixing Printing and Dyeing ( Jiaxing) Co., Ltd., Shixing Textile (Suzhou) Technology Co., Ltd., Suzhou Shixing International Trade Co., Ltd. At present, the company's main production equipment includes more than 500 water jet looms imported from Japan, more than 50 imported coating machines and auxiliary equipment, more than 150 sets of imported setting machines and overflow jigs, and the Shixing Group specializes in various chemical fibers. Fabric production, printing and dyeing, direct coating production of textile fabrics and transfer coatings - production and processing of release paper film waterproof and moisture permeable fabrics. The various products produced by the group have unique characteristics of flame retardant, waterproof, windproof, moisture permeable, warm, UV resistant, soft and comfortable. The products are widely used in rail transportation, special tooling, military defense, outdoor jackets, ski suits, Mountaineering wear, sportswear, medical, automotive and food industries, as well as various types of luggage, tents, etc., to meet the special needs of different customers. Products are exported to Southeast Asia and Europe and the United States. In recent years, the company has focused on the research and development of flame retardant technology, and 5 percent of the annual sales are used for research and development of new products, new technologies, new materials, new processes and new standards.

Mr. Liu Weijian, Chairman of Shixing Group, introduced to the reporter the desert camouflage, 500D double nylon flame retardant fabric which takes two years’ development. In addition to flame retardant function, this fabric also has four characteristics: environmental friendly, washable,resistant to high pressure, high tearing strength. Everyone knows that nylon flame retardant is more difficult to do than ordinary yarns, not only flame retardant but also weight limit, as well as water pressure, with five major functions. The added value of the entire product is much higher than the traditional one. The staff showed us its igniting and extinguishing function in the laboratory. 

Chairman Liu said that our company mainly produces fireproof and flame retardant products, mainly used in aerospace, rail transit, high-speed rail and other industries. Since 2001, Shixing has been committed to research and development and innovation of flame retardant products for 18 years. At present, our company's independent research and development of fabrics solves three major international technical problems. The first one is our chemical fiber fabrics. Everyone knows that chemical fiber fabrics are flammable and easy to dissolve. We solves these problems by our flame retardant technology,and it plays a very good role. In addition, after two years of experiments and hundreds of trials, we finally developed a product for the military last year. At present, this product is unique in China, and there is no enterprise in the world-could do. It is made up of a combination of nylon 66 and high-strength ATY, which solves the problem of both flame retardancy and limit of weight. It is resistant to water pressure, washing and the tearing of the world.

The other is our interwoven products, such as chemical fiber and natural fabric interwoven, chemical fiber with cotton, chemical fiber and wool, it is very difficult to meet this coating flame retardant requirement. This current international practice for this part has caused great pollution to the environment. Our process requires both flame retardancy and environmental protection. The main use is special tooling and industrial fabrics. At present, we basically cover the flame retardant standards of various textiles around the world.

And there is one of the most flammable products in all chemical fiber materials - Acrylic fiber. Acrylic fiber is the most flammable, and it burns as soon as it hits the fire. After our flame retardant coating, it will not burn. This is also a technical revolution.

For the time being, these three major fabrics are the directions of our research and development in recent years, and our flame retardant products basically cover all areas from aviation, rail transit, military industry, industrial fabrics, medical care, food to our civilian use.
